Events in November for people affected by cancer
Cancer and survivorship, Cancer and survivorship event, 10 November
Cancer and survivorship event at St George's is for people affected by cancer to learn about the Recovery Package, which has been developed to encourage greater wellbeing after cancer treatment.
The Recovery Package provides support relevant to an individual's needs, and promotes healthier lifestyles and independence. Our event is an opportunity for people who have finished cancer treatment or are coming to the end of a treatment at St George's, to join us with a family member or friend. You will meet staff from our cancer services team, local GPs and other people in a similar situation and learn how our cancer services are working with local GPs in the community to deliver the Recovery Package. We also want to hear about your experiences of the communication between the hospital and GP so that we can make the recovery package work more effectively. Please see the flyer for more information.
