Health Centre wins prestigious national award
NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Group
(CCG)’s new facility, The Nelson Health Centre, has scooped a national award for
the Best Primary Care Development at the prestigious 17th annual Building Better Healthcare Awards
held on November 4.
The Awards celebrate innovation,
architecture, people, products and services that are transforming patient care
in the UK.
The judging panel said: ‘This
development shows very clever use of the old buildings in the area. It fits in
remarkably well with its surroundings.’
The Nelson Health Centre, a flagship
service designed to bring better healthcare closer to home for Merton residents,
opened this April.
