Get involved transforming primary care services

NHS South West London Collaborative Commissioning (SWLCC) has an exciting opportunity for local people to get involved in transforming primary care services. They are inviting people who live in Croydon, Sutton, Merton and Richmond to apply to become volunteer patient, public, carer representatives on their Primary Care Representative Steering Group. The group will help make primary care more accessible; better coordinated and more proactive in supporting and improving the health and wellbeing of local people.

The group will meet every two months for two hours from 5.30pm – 7.30pm in Wimbledon. SWLCC will be offering all volunteer patient representatives training; induction meetings and one to one support.

SWLCC are particularly keen to hear from people who can bring the perspective from south west London whose voices are seldom heard in healthcare planning, and people who can contribute our strong commitment to equalities and diversity.

Please find attached the information pack, application form and advertisement which can also be found on the South West London Collaborative Commissioning website.

The closing date for interested applicants to return their forms to clare.thomas@swlondon.nhs.uk is Friday 2nd September at 5pm.
