​​What do Merton people think about their local care services?

People in Merton are being invited to give their views on their local care services as a contribution to an inspection due to take place this summer.​

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is planning an inspection of services provided by St George’s University​ Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, starting on 26 June 2016. The CQC is the independent regulator of all health and care services in England. It registers, monitors and inspects services to make sure they provide safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care, and encourages them to improve.

​​The CQC will inspect services provided at
  • St George’s Hospital (Tooting)
  • Queen Mary’s Hospital (Roehampton)
  • Community Services in Wandsworth
By sharing their experiences of services, local people can help the CQC to understand what is good and bad at these hospitals.
