If you feel stressed, anxious or low free support is available for adults throughout the Christmas holidays in Merton so you can get the help you need.
Dr Andrew Otley, Merton GP and Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Clinical Director for mental health said:
"We know Christmastime can bring extra stresses and pressures with family, finance and health worries.
"If you feel like you're not coping, professional support can really help so we want to encourage everyone feeling anxious or low to contact our services.
"There are lots of different ways to speak to someone in Merton for free through the NHS - at a time and in a way that works for you all through the holidays"
There is now a greater choice in the type of services available in Merton – from an online text based therapy session, to the more traditional face to face therapy session in person.
More appointments are available, with online and phone options at evenings and weekends, which means services can fit around people's work and home lives.

Thinkaction Merton (MIAPT)
One-to-one therapy (face to face, telephone or skype) and group therapy. The group therapy includes a wide range of innovative workshops and webinars. You will be contacted within one week of referral, when we'll offer you a first assessment appointment to take place in the next seven days. Workshops are run on a rolling basis.

One-to-one online therapy through written conversation.
If you are registered with a Merton GP you can refer yourself or by call 0800 074 5560.
Big White Wall
Talking therapy and counselling sessions available from 7am-11pm, 7 days a week. Sessions are delivered by typing, audio only or via secure webcam.
