Charitable funds

NHS Sutton and NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Groups’ Charitable Funds was established in April 2013 to assume responsibility for the funds previously held by NHS Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust Charitable Funds.

The next meeting of the charitable funds committee is Wednesday 06 March 2019.

The funds are separate to the CCGs' annual budgets for local healthcare services.

They are administered by the Charitable Funds Committee, which is made up of four Governing Board members (two from NHS Sutton CCG and two from NHS Merton CCG). This committee reports through to the Governing Body of NHS Sutton CCG, which is the Corporate Trustee for the funds.

The funds were established for charitable purposes relating to the National Health Service, and are mainly to support those with disabilities, older people and local NHS staff.
